Whenever I meet people, I hardly bring any business cards. Really. Simply because I know, the card won’t last long in their cardholders. In those holders, there are other business cards too—a lot of them. I’m sure of it. Mine is just one of them. Unless I am a very important person, holding a high position in a popular company, they might take my business card a little more seriously and keep it somewhere special but again yeah, I’m just a nobody. So, they won’t.

The lifespan of a business card usually is shorter than short. I don’t use a digital business card either. I don’t believe in that. And, I find it troublesome every time when I meet new people and they wish to exchange contact details through that digital business card app. The app itself is complicated and annoying. That was before the pandemic. Nowadays I hardly see anyone walking around with their digital business card anymore. It shows that nobody cares about that. Should there be anyone out there trying to build a digital business card, just don’t. It’s just not going to work as you are going to waste your time and money reinventing the wheel ditched by others before you.
