No Budget For Marketing? No Problem. Here’s How To Do It Right And Get The Results You Wanted

I’ve done this before. It was back in 2017 when I first created my content-sharing platform. It was a global platform, which I sold to a Singapore-based venture firm for $250,000 four years later. Did I have the money to run its marketing activities back then? Hell, no. I was bootstrapping it like crazy, all the way to its acquisition. Even when selling it, I didn’t even pitch or find a potential buyer whatsoever. They found me instead—on LinkedIn.

Each time I come across this “How can you effectively market without a budget?” question, I can safely say that it is the very question that many start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs grapple with. I totally understand, not everyone has the luxury of substantial financial resources to invest in marketing campaigns. But fret not, I’m going to spill the tea and share with you my experience here on this very topic.

Not many friends of mine knew this. At that time, I was a little frustrated with myself and the situation around me.
