Staying Clueless About Marketing Strategy Is Expensive, Here’s Why
Don’t follow those amateur businesses out there. Be better than them.
Marketing plays an instrumental role in the success of any company. You know it. I know it. Everybody knows it. No, marketing is not merely about promoting products or services to bring in more sales, but fundamentally it is about understanding the target customers and solving their problems with the products or services offered. This ultimately creates value for them. The value somehow is so significant, that they will keep on coming back to buy more.
Yet, many companies fail to recognise the importance of this marketing’s fundamental aspect. They simply neglect this very basic layer. What they care more about is promotion, promotion and promotion, and more sales from it.
The ignorance
To these companies whom I call them amateurs, creating a thorough marketing strategy is a waste of time. They prefer to jump straight into actions and skip altogether the why — as in why the customers out there must buy their product and not the competitors’.
